WORST club ever. I've been there twice and I regret both times. First of all, you can never go to Highlands without expecting to wait less than an hour to get in - even if you go super early. Once you're in, the club ain't even that great. Seriously. Nothing special. Security is horrible. They're SO UPTIGHT. The guards are probably trained to be jerks. There were two girls leaning on each other while waiting outside (because it was SO COLD and they'd been standing in their heels waiting to get inside for at least an hour) and the security guard pulled them aside, accused them of being drunk, and forced them to leave. Was that treatment necessary? Highlands sucks. Never going there ever again.

It was my first time there and I thought that the place was pretty crackin because of how crowded it was. But then I realized...the place was actually pretty small!!! Trickery! I didn't exactly have the best time in the world. There were some pretty rude people there. Including this drunk asian dude who was super drunk (his fat ugly face was red as hell). **I hope he's reading this too** I was standing by the bar waiting to order my beer and he kept like pushing me to the side. I'm like wtf? And like he deliberately took a glass that was on the table and dropped it on the floor so that all the ice splashed on me. I kept thinking to myself: "Erica, you are sober...he is drunk. DO NOT knock this fool out and get kicked out of this club." Then some like nasty ass cougar guys who claimed they were from Canada kept trying to feed me and my girlfriends free Grey Goose. They looked like rapists, so I declined. I dunno, perhaps it was just a bad night for me. I'll give this place one more chance.

This art gallery/bar is well located on hip Minna street. Wednesdays are best when they have cool DJ's spinning and is the "well-known" place to hit before the Thursday clubbin nights. I went on Friday evening with co-workers on this night....The bartender was very friendly when I disputed my bar bill and insisted that she pay for all $63 of my drinks....AMAZING....I will be back to tip her well next time. Pos: Wed is best, nice staff, art, central Financial District location, for those who are too cool to go to Royal Exchange Negs: None noted
