by Amy L. on I'm sorry but I brought my girlfriends there for a birthday celebration and it was very far from that, what a big mistake. We ordered long islands and once I tried to close out my tab and get my ID back I was completey ignored for about a half hour. I don't know if she was trying to get me to order more drinks to create a bigger tab for her to get a bigger tip but that was not my intention. I just wanted to go home and get my ID and debit card. There was no way for me to do that for a half hour until I started crying in front of everyone. I think they just got embarrassed and just wanted me out but that is really no way for someone to get their ID card and credit/debit card back from the bartender. It was absolutely horrible and I do not wish to return again. I whole heartedly wish that your bar gets shut down because of the absolutely horrible service you provide; why would you keep a place open??
by Jackie G. on Slide is like Britney Spears is to us - once lovely, hip and trendy but now just barely gets by with embarrassing antics and only every now and then surprises you with a good one. I do love that it's free, but the drinks we got on a Saturday night were full of ice and I finished it in two sips. The dance floor is always crowded, so watch out for rude people that spill drinks on you or run you over. I still try to have a good time when I go but I no longer expect too much out of the experience. Try going down the slide if you dare! You should do it at least once!
by Arron Gazzillo on I can't even remember all the shows I've seen here, but suffice to say, if a band I like is playing here, I will come running with ticket in hand. I'm a little older now, so I like to show up early and grab one of the tables surrounding the main stage area, but I usually end up jumping up and flipping out at the spectacular magic that happens when a band just syncs perfectly with the space and crowd. love it!
