I really love Piano Bar. I've been here twice now and both times have been a very pleasant experience. For whatever reason, they have the best Blue Moon I have ever tasted, haha. Don't know what's up with that, but it's the reason I look forward to going here. Overall, it's just a really chill, relaxing environment with an awesome vibe. Go here if you're looking for a real chill, good time. Also, this wonderful musician named Cydney Robinson plays there on Sunday nights though so that's even more incentive to go. She puts on quite the show! Bartenders are always nice and have an eye out for those looking to get a new drink. Always a big positive. On both occasions that I've been here, it was not crowded, which is nice. Really really great place in Hollywood that's worth checking out. So GENIUS.

Am writing a mixed review of Silk City, not because I am nostalgic for the old Silk City which had character, yet horrible food. Have now been to both dinner and brunch at Silk City and had the same experience - decent food, great selection, great ambiance and vibe and awful service. The food is not THAT great, but it's good and the menu is diverse enough that it can suit anyone's culinary restrictions. There are many vegetarian options and the ingredients seem fresh and good, though slightly boring. But the service is terrible. They must hire for hipster appearance and attitude and forget that serving food is their primary responsibility. Am not really a diva about service, but on a really hot day sitting outside, my water glass sat empty for most of my meal and the waitress spilled coffee on me with no apology. At dinner, our waiter was just downright rude. The dance section can get quite crowded, but hearing DJ Deejay is well worth a trip there. People actually dance, which is nice, and the clientele is not too creepy. Bottom line, worth going to for sure, but don't expect to be blown away.
