by Naomi P. on Ms. Tootsie's is authentic and amazing southern cuisine. We've had brunch and dinner there, both excellent and with fabulous service. We recently had to gather over 30 family members and decided to use the private dining room on the second floor of this restaurant. Folks couldn't stop raving about the ambiance, the fantastic food, and the exceptional service - for authentic soul food in a warm atmosphere and flawless service, this is the palce to go.
by Joi M. on The only reason I give this location4 stars is because of how small it is! There's very little space. Even though there it is two floors it still feels crowded. The bathroom located on the second floor and one stall for women creates a problem as well, especially on busy nights. The night I went the line was wrapped around the tables. I've only gone to this location once 2 years ago for my birthday. I prefer to eat at the Vinings location. I like that you can watch while your food is cooked and prepared if you sit at the bar at both locations. Service is always great. The food is really good Southern style that I always enjoy as well as the desserts.
by Gregg Lessman on It all comes down to one thing...Mexican Martinis. The margaritas are fabulous, the migas are out of this world, and the salsa is amazing....but its all about the martinis. Its probably wise for Trudy's to put the 2 martini maximum. Good times can be had here...
