What can I say that hasn't already been said about Morimoto? Wow, this was our third time here and I think they may have outdone themselves agian. We ordered the middle-price Omakase tasting menu. Highlights included an Ama Ebi dish with caviar, caramel, foam, pea shoots, wow, amazing. One dish didn't please everyone, the herring, but I loved it. Others included scallops, foie gras, wagyu beef, a simmering sauce that you could dip raw tuna and cooked veggies in, reminded me of an Asian fondue, lol. The service was impeccable, our waiter was confident, had a great attitude, and a loud voice, which is not so important unless the restaurant is loud (it was) and you have a table of 6 very talkative people (we did) who need to be interrupted from time to time. He actually broke a glass, didn't do any damage to anyone, didn't miss a beat and said, "well, now that I have your attention". Everyone laughed, and the incident was quickly forgotten. Morimoto is still one of Philly's best.

Service- O.K. (Server forgot to bring out our iced tea-blamed it on her getting old) Hey but we all make mistakes and no ones perfect ;-) Ordered the Sushi Sashimi Combo which includes: Coconut or Miso Soup 4 pieces Sashimi 3 pieces Nigiri 4 california rolls 3 tempura rolls All for 10.00 :-) Went with my Supervisor and he didn't want his soup so I gladly ate his as well as my own! The coconut soup was awesome! Never tried this particular soup before but Boy oh boy it was Full of Flavor! Wow..It had a bisquey quality to it. The Miso was perfect and wasn't like chicken broth...this was the real deal here with bits of seaweed and tofu. Delish! The Combo came out in this cute Bento Box which sepreated everything perfectly. The Salmon was so fresh...Melted in your mouth, however the tuna tasted somewhat like it could have been frozen but it was still pretty good. I would definitely recommend. I went during lunch so it was not busy at all (on a Monday). I am so full right now I can't even look at anymore food and that's rare for me being the Foodie that i am but it was pretty good food...Really not many complaints...and if I did complain...who the heck would wanna listen?? P.S. When I did get the sweet tea it was good and southern jsut how this G.R.I.T.S. like it :-)

Personally, I wouldn't pay over $5 to go to Micky's... but just go on Tuesdays or with a VIP member and you're all set. The dancers and bartenders make the place awesome, not sure about the music though. If you like cheese I guess :P All that said, I really like Micky's small venue vibe, and frequent it when I can.
