As someone who doesn't eat seafood, I can say that I've had everything on their menu that doesn't involve fish and enjoyed all of it. Hint, get the 3 "vegetable" platter and try all of their sides at once. Great place to hold your next happy hour or family outing.

I have to preface this review with the fact that I am semi-afraid of LA. Yes, I have lived outside the "orange curtain" for many years, in fact I just moved back after living outside of CA for 10 years. That being said, LA scares me for several reasons: a. Valet parking everywhere b. Loads of traffic makes me a confused girl (and I'm already bad at navigating) c. Industry people (they're very important you know, if you don't know, they let you know) Sooo, when I inevitably end up back up this way I will definitely suggest the Edison. It not only calmed my LA fears a bit, but I really liked this place. I know it's downtown and maybe out of the way, but so worth the trip. Super cool vibe. Silent movies playing on the brick walls kept me entertained. I wanted to steal the light fixtures for my house, super cool exposed bulbs with modern but still vintage vibe. Good beers on tap, and nice selection of apps to choose from even late night. (try the crab fritters). Random burlesque dancer on the bar out of nowhere doing crazy hand stands and yoga moves....pretty cool. 20's flappers dressed in wings peddling wooden carts full of glass-bottles with of some type of elixir. Never found out what that was, but now I wish I did! A lot classier than a gal with glitter and jello shots. If I can get someone else to navigate....I'll be back. :)

Ehh its a place to dance.... This place could be so much better than it is, bartenders need to work on paying attention to patrons and not chatting with their friends. Good DJ's but way too loud and dark to be intimate at all. Turn on a few lights and turn down the mains a tad and everything will be cool
