by Heather Tice on The 7 Mile used to be the best place in America when DAVE and GERT BRADLEY owned it, it was like a second home for our familys growing up (as sad as that is) the people were great the food was AWSOME, it was a wonderful environment. However now a days food sucks, service SUCKS< waitresses and bartyenders are all snotty little clicky girls. The crowd is way differant. My husband and I went in there with my mom and sister to had a drink for my birthday. Before my drink was gone Eric (the cook) was lets just say realy bothering my sister, my mom yelled at him to leave her, instead he comes around the bar to bother her my husband puts out his hand to stop him his drunk self fell into a crowd then all those pregudise jerks jump us we faught the hole bar. Our fault of course not his/theirs. Needless to say we were'nt bothering anyone, and are now barred (DARN HUH) crappy bar. New owneres, new wait staff, nice bar. NOt now
by Lisa A. on We gave PT a try because they were on Scout Mob and we had some errands in the neighborhood. All can say is I am so happy we had the discount from Scout Mob!! We went for lunch and had a shrimp appetizer, a taco basket & a quesadilla & two diet cokes and our bill was $43.00 before the discount!! The shrimp appetizer was good, but the shrimp are served in the shell, which is in a sauce so it was so messy. The tacos were good but the quesadilla was fried. It was the strangest thing and then they covered it with shredded lettuce just did not care for It at all. Then there was the service, or should I say lack of service!! Sat at 11:30am, music blaring, maybe 10 other people in the place and our server stood at the bar talking to the bartender while we sat without drinks. Like I said, I am so happy we got $18.00 off our meal but I will not be back, with or without a coupon!!
by Stephany A. on First of all the decor is stunning. I had dinner there for my birthday. The food was delicious. We had the halibut special, which tasted amazing, the tuna ceviche (love it!), flat iron steak, carpaccio, seafood paella, lamp chops with mash potatoes. All very yummy! The chef came out and said happy birthday to me and made me a birthday plate for me. The service was attentive, amazing and friendly. We stayed there for the night life, there were beautiful people and great vibe, it was packed with good music. We had birthday shots and loads of fun! We really enjoyed our time at La Vida and can't wait to go back!
by Kandy Luce on The word is not dump -- it's dive -- and there's a big difference. The Back Fence is definitely my favorite bar in the Bleeker area, and possibly in the city. Somehow, believe it or not, this bar actually convinced me to move here. Incredible (and a bit exaggerated), I know. If you're looking for a no-frills watering hole with some great music and cheap drinks, this is the place to go.
