went to Mighty with a shoulder injury a while back. Interesting scene, a bit packed, but that seemed to be the point. Good for the folks who want a sweaty, crazy glimpse into underground. Fun for a warehouse type vibe.

Drive-thru veggie burger anyone? This place has them, and they're good! I have a vegetarian friend who will go through the Whataburger drive-thru and get a burger without the meat. Player's veggie burger is a much better option complete with a flavorful and moist veggie patty (that doesn't fall apart), lettuce, tomato and onions! (Just make sure that if you don't like mayo to order it without, because it's pretty mayo-y.) If you want to go in and eat that's cool too. The place is clean, though small, and nice for lunch though they sometimes have a line to order. Since I'm not a vegetarian anymore I now usually get the cheeseburger which is satisfying and not too greasy actually. I like me a cheeseburger and this is one of the better ones in town! Their fries are good too. They're thicker potato fries...if you like that sort of thing. I recommend this place when you need a burger in a pinch, don't want to go to a full-service restaurant, but also don't want to go to a chain fast-food burger joint. It fits the bill!

I've stayed here three times and every time I have a great experience. The best thing going is the location (right on the Walk of Fame and across from the Chinese Theater) and the history (Some of the true, classic Hollywood starlettes have stayed here). The rooms are modern and nice, bring your CD's because every room has a player. Love the old hollywood artwork and photos in every room. The beds are comfy and the internet is free! The pool and bar area is really nice, the restaurant is over-priced though. The gym is tiny but has nice cardio equipment (with individual flat screen tv's on each unit) and free weights. I don't like the elevator (always slow and sometimes out of order, they need to be repaired or upgraded, BAD) and the showers are nice but every one I've had that has a glass door on it, the track is uneven on the bottom and it causes the water to leak out and go all over the floor, annoying and messy.
