(Continued story from Busby's in Santa Monica). Don't quite remember walking in here, but I remember being asked to play beerpong in some random room set aside for beerpong? It has an open window-type thing that sees into the bar, so that was pretty cool. I think these were the only non-Asians in the whole bar... You know how people say you play beerpong better when you're drunk? ... Yeah, no. I think there is a threshold where you play better, and then there is just my level, where you're just throwing the ball towards the general other end of the table... At least the beer was good, I guess? Haha... I think it was Stella, anyway. But anyway! Toooo many Asians! It's weird that there were so many more Asians at this Busby's than the one in Santa Monica. I understand we're near K-Town, but still. Since we came when the bar was closing, I can't say much about the rest of the bar-- the dancing, etc. What I can say though, is that hotdog lady knows what's up by staking out in front of a bar at 2am! Mmm, dirty dogs!

Let me get to the point, BQE tries to be classy by having that "No hats" Rule, the place looks great, service is good, and the ambience is pleasant. But, the thing that pissed me off, is that how the hell DO YOU ONLY HAVE THREE PING PONG PADDLES?!!!!.. I mean, i know its just a small issue, but its things like that that can make or break a business. First, it is only limited paddles, what can we expect next? No full set of billards balls and one chalk per table?? Two Stars!!

I did not enjoy this place much at all. The people were older married types and weren't very friendly towards people they don't know (they kept calling my friends and I "kids" wtf?) The $2 PBR until 8 was cool, and I liked that after 8 the price only went up 75 cents. The decorations were fun, loved the disco ball christmas tree ornaments, but just didn't have a good time in general. I did get some free condoms out of it though.
