Pizza isn't the hardest thing to make, right? So why should it take the entire happy hour to get it in my mouth? Let's be honest, the pizzas are slightly over rated and seems to be very inconstant each time I've been in for dining or happy hours, which is about 4 times. While I've done a few happy hours here, it was one of the few when my friends and I had a party of 10+. We order a few apps and few pies. I was actually excited to hear it was under new management - BUT alas it seems it's just more of the same hype. Over crowded for terrible service and appetizers that were completely forgotten about by the wait staff?...Really? When I try to notify El 'Jefe - Carlos the manager/monopolizer of Manor - He really could careless and seemed to be upset I even bothered him from 'acting' busy. Same ol same ol' I see?! Hmm, did I pick this gig for you homie?...because he was certainly acting like I did. In my opinion, it certainly wasn't the right personality for the customer service business - I'm just sayin'. Overall I feel Red House is just selling the idea of a fun place for you and co-workers to have a happy hour. This is anything further from the truth because if you show up with 4 or more amigos - you're screwed on space! Not because it busy folks but because of the poor layout and stiff seating, to boot. Can a brotha get some elbow room and oh yeah, pizza that doesn't take an hour and an half to make? Lastly, I had enough when the 45 min beer order only yielded a Lone Star that was flat and no apps? How can you disrespect an Austin staple like Lone Star. No thanks Red Louse. For shame, for shame. I'll take my business and my peeps elsewhere from now on.

Friday nights, Asian crowd. Too many too cool to dance guys here standing around looking for girls. They have an outside patio which is filled with smoke from all the too cool guys that love to stand around. Girls are too sober here and not as friendly as other clubs, no fun. The majority of the girls I always see here are not so good looking. The security guys need to find something better to do, they go about harassing people. They force people to either stand directly next to the bar or like 5 feet away. They harass people they believe are drunk and drag them outside to only waste their money on drinks and cover.

I've always found Shine to be a comfortable place to hang out or get yer dance on. It's an odd choice to not have speakers in the back of the bar, but it makes it so that you can sit and not strain to hear people talk. The photo booth is cool, but alas pics don't seem to be posting from the last few days yet. The main reason to go to Shine is probably the music. I usually get my Deep End fix here from time to time.
