Don't you love how they show girls bowling in high heels on all of their ads?  In reality you need to put on their flat standard boring bowling shoes before you can bowl and I promise you no one is having that much fun.... unless it's on their company! I can't tell you how much appetizers/beers/lanes are because I was there with BC's company for a happy hour and it was unlimited appetizers and drinks which is the only reasons why I'd EVER go. I honestly would never go on my own for a few reasons: - It's a rip off because I know the lanes are waaaaay too expensive - It's loungey bowling, I mean really?  Did I really go to a lounge to get drunk and throw around a 10+ pound ball?  Or better yet did I really go to a spot to be around people who can get drunk and throw around a 10+ pound ball for fun?  If you think about it, it's pretty ridiculous. -It's DISCO bowling where it's all blue lights and funky music and glow in the dark lanes... umm... I don't even know what to say about that. All in all I had an okay time, you can't complain about unlimited drinks and appetizers but I didn't go near a bowling ball for fear that some drunk idiot might by chance lose his grip on the ball. But I'd definitely go again if it was FREE. Oh and for a cute touch, the Budweiser bottles are shaped like bowling pins.  It took 5 grown men to figure this out.  I figure I'd just tell you to spare you the trouble....

A lot of hype for this place. Was there this past week on a Thursday night and was not impressed. Drinks cost much but value equation on the light side. Would attend again but clearly not one of the best.

bOb is my standard for intimate, fun places to go dance. Like Bar Copa in LA (reviewed below), bOb is small and candle lit (in fact the 2 places remind me of each other a whole lot) with great DJs and a friendly diverse crowd. It gets crowded with dancing people, which for me is super fun. It's the kind of place that feels like it's your own little secret. I try to get there at least once very time I'm in NY. I heart bOb.
