by diana i. on 3.5 stars. I came here on a Friday night after dinner upstairs at Honda Ya Izakaya for a friend's birthday. It's located in a convenient location with easy parking in the shopping mall structure which is a plus! It looked pretty nice inside, a step above casual, hip hop blaring from the... speakers? We didn't see a DJ around... maybe he was off that night because apparently there is one. It wasn't too empty but not too packed either, mostly an older 30s Asian crowd which was kinda surprising. I didn't try any of their food there but I saw they have a HUGE beer selection!! They even have lindeman's framboise and peche lambic in the cute smaller bottles! My bf got a Chimay Blue which he really liked. Cocktails were pretty pricey and came in plastic cups. Overall, it's a pretty nice lounge, a good hangout spot, but don't expect it to be a club. Not too many people were dancing. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back.
by Abhi K. on Their Monday night fixed price menu is fantastic. You get to try an appetizer, entree and dessert for only $15. Things that I've learned: the portions are small, the quality is superb, the tastes are amazing in your mouth, there is ample parking in their lot. They really need to do something about their decor though. The place has the potential of being really nice and fancy, but it comes off as cheap because the furniture is plastic.

Like Bar Copa in LA (reviewed below), bOb is small and candle lit (in fact the 2 places remind me of each other a whole lot) with great DJs and a friendly diverse crowd. It gets crowded with dancing people, which for me is super fun. It's the kind of place that feels like it's your own little secret. I try to get there at least once very time I'm in NY. I heart bOb.
