Signs you married someone from New Hampshire: You play, and like Buck Hunter. An amazing way to kill some time before a show: Grab a beer, take some funny photos in the photobooth to document your concert going experience. Then, put on a trucker hat, tell some "you know you're a redneck when..." jokes and shoot 'em up. The venue itself is eh....I saw The Sounds here and sold merch for some snowboarder event and it's okay. I don't love it. I don't hate it. What I DO hate is that they shut the venue down at 11 to turn it into a night club. When we were leaving the show, they closed off the exit to let the scantily clad females inside. The humongous bouncer must have failed the "How to be a meathead" test to get his bouncer's license and is a sporting a counterfeit security badge, because you have to let people OUT of the venue before you can let more IN. Drinks are so overpriced. When I was here for the snowboarder party, beers were $9. They also skimp on the temperature control. Hi, um, manager, could you tun on the AC so I don't sweat my boobs off? I'm partial to them, thanks. Unless you're going to spoon feed me the beer with a platinum spoon, I'm not paying nine bucks for a beer. I'll just shoot bucks in the lobby with my husband and 1st cousin.

Truly quality EDM music and Fluid nightclub go hand in hand in my honest opinion.  I do not think there is another nightclub in Philadelphia where you can pretty much count on not being disappointed by the tunes on any given night. The club's atmosphere and decor is fantastic -- I always feel like I'm in a beehive or inside a massive tree trunk -- with nice air ventilation to boot.  Sure its a touch small inside, and if you're a dancer I can guarantee you'll be wishing for a larger dancefloor, but I really cannot complain about this place. They consistently bring in amazing names from the EDM scene and the cover charge always reasonable! Don't miss the last Wednesday of each month - Philly local and world-renowned house producer/DJ Josh Wink is always on point! I've heard people complain the drinks are over-priced, but I don't really agree.  Sure, maybe they're a little more expensive than at other clubs, but I'm always served my (very strong) cocktails in large glasses! If you've never been - ladies especially - beware the downstairs bathroom!  Both restrooms are unisex, but the one on the main floor is simply an open urinal and a stall.  And then the walls are covered in a mosaic of mirrors.  Walking in unawares of what you're about to be greeted with is a bit disconcerting for your first time - I was anyway!  I've also been told by a couple guys that the men standing at the urinal can pretty easily see into the stall from the space between the wall and the stall door! Although, what always ends up throwing me for the biggest loop is getting hit on by a man using the urinal while using the stall myself. In any case, Fluid = good music & good times!
