This is a really great neighborhood joint. It's one of the first establishments in Fishtown I really enjoyed going to. Sure, it has it's hipsters, but they CAN be entertaining. And the live music is well appreciated. Overall, this is a safe bet for a good night for taking friends.

I was really happy with the reopening of the diner, and have found the food to be much better than it once was. The burgers are really delicious in particular. My problem is more with the lounge- namely the security guards. On a recent Saturday night a very large guard was walking around sticking his flashlight into people's faces while they were dancing. He stood at the top of the stairs and was intimidating and menacing. Everyone there was just having a good time, and this guy made me feel like a criminal just for being there. Then as soon as the lights came on at last call, he and and another guard started SCREAMING at people to get the f*ck out right now. People were of course trying to finish their drinks, get their bags, find their friends and were basically being pushed around by these guys acting like drill sergeants. It was a total smack in the face to what was otherwise a fun night. And it didn't stop there- security guards were literally taunting people that were upset with how they were being treated- even mocking one girl who they practically shoved out the front door. It was despicable, and made me never want to dance there again.

Interesting crowd. I went with a group of 12 on a Saturday night and had a lot of fun. They have 5 seating areas a surrounding the dance floor that can be reserved for a price (I was told ~$425 for seating about 8). At about 11:00 PM they had a group of female dancers perform on the tables in front of these seating areas. The dancers are fully covered in skin tight white leotards and they move to the constant pounding of the 'House' music. It seemed like the crowd was a mix of early 30-somethings and that people tended to arrive in groups. I am definitely not a 'clubber' and I didn't feel too out of place here, which maybe says something. There is no cover charge before 10:00 PM. Overall, I'd say it's a good place to grab a drink and dance.
