by Andrew E. on This is my favorive resturaunt in Philadelphia. The atmosphere is awesome. They have a bunch of little coves in the walls and a candle in each one. The food was outstanding, I got sea bass. It is a bit pricey roughly $100 a person with entree, desert and wine. I would go back.

Medjool is a great restaurant--its loft style, color scheme, chandelier lights, and the rooftop with great views! What's not to love?! The food is great, my favorites are the seared scallops, Medjool sampler, shrimp entree, & the bestest peach cobbler with Tahitian ice cream--heavenly! Oh and the New Zealander tourist Alec that I met the last time I was there, wasn't bad at all either! YUM!
by Chong Modesto on Sugar Cafe - A diabetics worst nightmare Dressed to Kill "What do you mean I can't wear a wife beater and boxer shorts in?" Almost didn't get in because of the dress code. So be warned because I wasn't. Luckily I knew the magic words (Insert promoters name here). I got there around 12:20am. Highlights -Very new and mod -Big screen playing movies viewable from the street & inside -Music mix was good and yelling was not necessary to communicate -Maurice the bouncer is a nice guy -Well dressed men & women Downside -Service took forever. It was hard to get the bartender to smile, but she warmed up eventually -$18+$3 tip for a warm Bud Light, Corona & House Cab that wasn't very good -Started thinning out around 12:45am -Pizza shop across the street closed Maybe another night will be better.
