by Gretchen on Well getting in A60 was easy for me coz my boyfriend has some ‘connections’. It is on the East side of the Thompson Hotel and the view is LOVELY. You can see the Empire State building too. It is great. The drinks are extremely cheap for this place, for only fifteen dollars. The crowd was mostly hotshots like models and people with connections. Ahem, Ahem. We went to the rooftop too and it was amazing. The vibe that place gives out is simply COOL. The only word that describes my experience there is perfection. So if you wanna have a cocktail in the celebrity style this is your spot.
by George on Yea yea yea. The rooftop, the view the hotties... WHATEVER!!! Nothing counts for me unless I have fun. The drinks were just…so bad I can hardly say a word. I had the pineapple caipirinha and all I could taste was the pineapple. I mean I might as well be having pineapple juice. And despite a reaction I will get from the many ‘lovers’ of this place I was bored. I know…I know….but for how long can I stare at the Empire State building?? I mean for Christ sake I have it a gazillion times…I live in New York!!! People say they like the exclusivity I say what to do with that if you can’t get a decent alcoholic drink that actually tastes like it.
