I came here with 2 girlfriends for restaurant week and really enjoyed the offered menu. They started with a savory duck soup and a salmon that had the best, crispy skin I have ever crunched my teeth into. It was herbed, which made it all the more enjoyable. As part of the presentation, they brought out this zen-like sand garden of salt--a tasting trio of sorts. And let me give homage to the short ribs that I had as my entree. What can one say about meat that falls off the bone, having been braised in an immensely flavored sauce. It was one of those dishes where you had to put the fork down, fully soak in each bite, while dreading to clear the plate! The desserts were also fantastically scrumptious. They included a raspberry ice cream, accompanying a chocolate molten cake. Contrary to my predecessor rateclubsERS, I recommend popping in here for the pre-fixe, if they ever have it again!

Update: I went there last night, and it just wasn't that great. The crowd seems to have changed over the past few months. My drink wasn't even very good. I am downgrading it a star. ---------- I go to the 80s party on Thursday every once in a while, and it is usually really fun. It is a good place to drink, dance like an idiot, and sing along to all of the cheesy songs. The crowd is fun--a bit on the geeky side, which is fine with me. I like the new upstairs lounge, but I just wish that it was open more often.
