by Dale Eheler on Great spot. A favorite weekday evening - appetizers at the bar with a couple of friends. Get the short ribs! The pizza is delicious... Meatballs with saffron and almond sauce - yum. Bartenders are always friendly, too, and the small details are well done here - for example, silver and glassware are simple yet distinctive, and make a drink or a meal seem special. Highly recommended.
by Marina K. on update... I have since been back numerous times and have had so much fun. They are one of the few places left in SF that plays and showcases good house music. I love the fact that they stay open until 3am because that means that even though I'm working til 2am on Fri/Sat nights I can still race over and catch the tail end of Derrick Varter's killer set :) Michael Anthony is such a gracious host as well. Every time I have been there he has been so welcoming and generous. He's also great at remembering who you are when you bump into him outside of his club. I have to admit though... I have yet to go for dinner. Unfortunately my schedule makes it almost impossible to go to dinner anymore... and I was bummed to have not made it to "bed" on new years day.... stay tuned for dinner review... should be coming soon :)
