**My initial review of Mighty was based on PERSONAL experiences at Mighty, not on the venue itself. So, in light of this fact, I am revising** Mighty is a fine establishment. I personally have had many a bad night at Mighty but it had nothing to do with the folks running the place. As Tal K mentioned, it is indeed one SF night spot that has great music AND draws a mostly-SF crowd. The music is awesome (I have friends who spin here and friends who do parties here and all in all, those two factors are top notch). However, my issues with The Mighty include the bathroom lines that are so long my buzz wears off before I make it in there, and getting a drink can be difficult because the place is so damn popular. The gaggles of girls doing god knows what in the bathroom do not help the potty line situation. I'm all for a good time however you got to get it, just not at the expense of my personal time. Another issue is the mob-style crowd. It's very hard to walk from one side of Mighty to the other without being stepped on, hit, or spilled on and I've been nearly burned in the tiny smoking area numerous times. These are just things that come with the territory. I know...I know... The owner is charming and the bartenders are adorable. It's a burning man-heavy crowd a lot of the time, so if that's how you roll, it's all good. That is not, however, how I roll. I have spent more than my share of nights at Mighty and like I said in my original review, it is not my first choice, but that's just me. I'm totally along for the ride if friends are there! Hell, I'll probably be dancing on the bar there come the weekend...

I find it plain even though it has strange/interesting acts and you can expect to see something crazy. I've had plenty of fun times here but it was more the beer and the people i came with. In general too smokey, noisy, busy, and everything else soso. Some people love it though, so try it out.
