by Scott Batas on Been here twice, fell in love the first time. I fell in love with the dimly lit interior, the amazing bartenders who taste drinks and adjust them accordingly before serving them, the potency of the cocktails, and the super music. My second visit wasn't really a visit per se, it was more of a drive by sans the Wayne Bradyesque violence, although I wish it would have escalated to that point. Shall I explain? No? Too bad, sucka. Thanks to Poseidon's fury, we decided to skip SM and do Hollywood where we found a nice little parking lot to get drunk. A quarter bottle of Vodka and some Malibu Rum and Coke later, we decided to drive around a couple corners to this place. Well, we made it round the first corner, but the second corner took us a little longer. Maybe an hour longer. The valet sucked that night, they couldn't find parking or something because they were backed up farther than the women's restrooms at Dodger games. I finished most of my flask waiting, and when we got to the front of the line of cars, we were denied, the attendant claiming some bullshit. We left. I'm not holding this against the Little Temple because I'm sure they subcontract the valet service, and it's not their fault they're so damn cool. Yeah, this is easily one of my favorite bars of all time, second to the Hare, but they're hardly comparable. Oh, the bartenders use a straw to pull the drink from the glass and from the straw it goes into their mouths. Their lips don't come anywhere near your drink. Rockin.
