by Chen W. on i really enjoyed the aquarium. i was really afraid that i would be disappointed. but i had a very nice time. i loved the jelly fish, the whale shark, rays, sea horse... i was afraid to touch the sharks though. the rays feels a bit silky and slimey at the same time. i am curious by nature... so i got to touch and see everything. i love animals. so it was fun. $27.99 for adults... if you have AAA, buy tickets through them, i think you can get some discounts. but if you are at the ticket booth, you have to pay full price. take your camcorder... it is memories that you can replay over and over.
by Marvis Linnear on SOooo, I came here on a busy Saturday night for a Tony Events production. I was really surprised it was a pretty diverse crowd. I like diverse crowds because if it was Asian night like I have been the last two times, I feel sort of claustrophobic. Anyway, The place is nice, and I felt weird wearing my Stunna shades inside as I walked through the bottom floor as some people, some older, were still at their tables eating. I also remembering it being really dark. Oh duh! My sunglasses! Ha. The music was a mix of new school and early 90's "This is How We Do it" by Montell Jordan. I have yet to be at a club where they play the grinding song of the millenium: "Too Close" by Next! That would be awesome. The sound system, though, was whack. It kept it club style for like twenty minutes then it subdue immensely as if 7 of its speakers blew out, but then it would come back up to blow-out-out-ears level in about three minutes. Weird, but it kept me dancing all freaky freaky. Too bad they didn't play "My Love." I practiced some dance moves before I came. Drink service was good in my opinion. I love places with great bar service. If it is too crowded upstairs in the hip hop room, try some time downstairs in the trance room, the longer bar may be quicker. $10 guestlist fade was OK, but I don't think any place yet in San Fran deserves a $20 cover. -Matt P.S. Has anybody found the third level? Is there even one?
