by Lana E. on I LOVE this place! I have only been about 6 times, but each time was wonderful! You must be able to enjoy the party atmosphere though on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're looking for some place quiet, look somewhere else. There are belly dancers on weekends, and a couple times this pair of Greek dancers happen to be there dancing some sort modern style Greek dance which was amazing to watch. The food is good, only once did the food come out not so great, but still it was edible. The other times, I ordered kabobs and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I recommend the quail if they still have it. Also, they offer delicious Saganaki (Greek Fire Cheese) which they set on flame for you...it's sooooo good! I recommend Plaka for any sort of parties because the atmosphere just begs for it. If you have kids, I would not bring them here on a weekend, its definitely adult orientated.
by Selena Lemaire on I only go here when I'm at Lush Lounge and the maximum I'm willing to travel is half a block to find a dancefloor cause I'm bored. Which happens more frequently than I'd like to admit. The place tends to be crowded and charges a cover. I mean honestly, why? And yet I still pay. It's a vicious cycle. Decent drinks, lousy DJ, crowded and stuffy dance floor.
