by Stanford Darrow on Came here for a social gaming panel and it was a really nice open, social area for a gathering. Lots of mingling space and allowed for easy interaction with people. The bartender was on top of his game, and managed the bar like a champ. Especially when there were hundreds of us crowding the bar. (Oh yeah, it was an open bar. So major kudos for banging out the drinks so quickly my friend.) Love long bars, and 111 Minna has that down solid. Not sure if this is a place I'd come to often for fun, but its definitely a good spot for an after work toss back.
by David L. on I came here on Wednesdays Nights for Bassrush. However since Bassrush changed venues to Cinescape, I haven't been here since. But from past experience, it's a nice place. Kinda hot but it has a lot of room to dance. The sound system isn't that bad either. They have like 3 rooms, one main room and two smaller rooms. They have a nice outside patio in the back where you can chill and smoke. The lighting is alright I guess but for Bassrush, all I care about was who was spinning such as Tech Itch, SPL, etc.. The dance floor is cool because it's round and its surrounded by booths. I bet these booths are reserved if you come on the weekends but on Wednesdays, they're empty. Parking is free in the back and don't bother valeting because the free parking spots is next to the valet parking spots lol.
