by Orlando M. on I was here for an hour on Friday. The arched silver roof extension and the bouncers show/say it all. Its a bit too full of itself, like Here. Did not like that they charged cover on Wednesday. Arg, "Oh no they di'n't!" (I am figuratively looking away for now... hoping the owners will change this). Drinks were watered down (These kind of things set the attitude of the bar). Its good to have an extra place to go to and I will be back but man they were in a nice niche before the fire and they stepped out of it. I hope everything works out.
by Alice Loverich on Went here last Saturday because I was meeting a friend. They charge a cover for absolutely no reason. The people were all sort of the North Beach type crowd.. just graduated college and looking to hook up but I think I'm too cool for North beach now.. Not my cup of tea. I love The Hemlock right around the corner, go there.
