by Chad G. on WIth zero animus towards the place personally, I'll say a few things that I personally don't like about bars: 1--Covers 2--Music so loud you can't speak to the people you came to socialize with 3--Reserved seats in a f*%ing Mission Street bar. 4--Bottle Service lounges? What? Okay--so this place takes a few hits, because it's simply not my cup of tea. If I wanted to dance with some girls perhaps, but I'm married now, so I'm not sure how appropriate that is, but it's still not really my type of thing. I will say the music is good, but I like to hang out and converse with the people I meet up with, and I feel like it's tough to anything that's cranked up to 11, Oh, last note, Mission Street isn't really Rodeo Drive, which is why all of this feels out of place. But if the stuff I wrote above is stuff you'd like, I'm sure this place is right up your alley.
by Andera Gails on Wednesday night at Minna! Great crowd, cool dj (break beats). Hard to get a drink if you are not an ass and have no cleavage. But when you are in line, you can laugh at the asses and gawk at the cleavage. This is a great place to go right after work. You don't look like a fool there in business casual, a full suit, or jeans and a tee. I saw a dude in an all white suit talking to someone in flip flops and sweats. San Fran in miniature!
