We had a good dining experience... we kind of rolled in super duper hungry and didn't need much. So they serve meals and honestly we are cheap and split one, the shrimp enchiladas, and it was more than enough food. It was delicious, and the dude who served us very graciously brought some habanero salsa that was a "recipe from his grandmother", which isn't in quotes because I don' t believe it, it's in quotes because it's what he said... it was cool, and the salsa was unbelievably delicious. We were two people and there was a huge group in there aside from us... they did a good job of getting us into a quiet spot, refilling chips and water and salsa... everyone was super kind and on it. I WANT to give it 5 stars, but I'm at like, 4.5 right now. and the reason I'm not going to give it 5 stars is because I suppose it's not the type of place I'd eat at again and again. Nah: actually, I'm giving it 5, because they treated me like how one should be treated when one comes to eat, and the food was delicious. Another 5 by me!

You're set for brunch if you can make it here before 11am... I've been many times and have never had to wait more than 15 minutes. The prices are also incredibly reasonable. As tempted as I am by the sweet side of the menu I normally stick with the breakfast burrito or the tomato, pesto + mozzarella frittata. I favor the burrito because of their delicious home made hot sauce. I've sent the frittata back more than once because it was a little too runny, but I think it's mostly due to the fresh tomato in the dish (and I like my eggs well done). Next on my list? The lemon ricotta pancakes.

Great little find in Dorchester. I love the wooden decor with blue lights and clean lines on the inside. Came for brunch so that I could get together with the girls to catch up. The rosemary infused french fries were fabulous. My oyster mushroom omelet was good as were the home fries that came with my omelet. One of my friends had the brioche french toast which looked and tasted phenomenal. Another friend had the biscuits and gravy which did not taste as good as the other two entrees. Drinks were good (mango mimosa and peach bellini) but a little on the small side. Overall for the price and value, I certainly think that it's worth going to Dbar. Another plus is that they have their own parking lot but I'm sure you'd be able to find a spot on the street! Restrooms: The women's restroom is right next to the entrance (a little strange), but it was definitely clean.
