by Humberto R. on Great location, extraordinary service! I planned a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend here last weekend. I called the staff and they allowed me to come in early to plant the cake and decorations with no problem =D All guests arrived early and were waiting for my gf and i to walk in to surprise her, the staff at the door was in on it too and helped add to the excitement once my gf got to her table and saw all her friends n family! All the waitresses were hott and ours was especially awesome for helping bring out the cake at midnight! Everyone had a blast, the music was a great mix of good beats, there was free tacos and chocolate covered strawberries, the bottle service is the best around, and the girls in the party loved the professional dancers on the stage and a couple of the guys even came down n hung out with us. Very satisfied with our experience here and will definitely have more events at Blvd3!!!
by Fritz Gitt on 1984 is the best club in SF on Thursday nights. I love the vibe here. The music is awesome. Where else can you hear BBD's "Poison," GNR's "Welcome to the Jungle", and Journey all in the same place??? I love the fact that EVERYONE is having a good time & singing along. It's one of the few places where kids in their 20s (prob conceived to much of the music being played) & 40 year old rockers all can party together. The ONLY drawback to the Cat Club is the ventilation. Walk towards the back b/c there is more breathing room there. Since this is the hot spot in the City, everyone & their mother is here, crowding the front. The 2 fans by the entrance can't provide enough ventilation for everyone. All in all, a good time. I will definetely be back here soon! I recommend this place for anyone & everyone that wants a good time on a Thursday night. I wish I knew about this when I was living in SF over 2 years ago.
