by Annette M. on I had fun. There was a 20 dollar cover charge, we talked them down to 10. We had been on the guestlist but it was already 12am. I like the inside, they let girls dance on the bar. Bathrooms are ok, not the worst I've seen. The music was really good. We had a nice VIP section with a friendly cocktailer. I'd go back if I go early!

It's easily accessible from the one train at Houston St. S.O.B.s is one of the few places where the sultry salsa music is coming from a live band. Drinks are a little steep but with $5 admission before 7pm with included lessons, and it isn't a bad deal. Careful though, this place gets packed before 10. Novices need not worry. There are rarely any snobbish dancers. A little confidence and some know how, and you'll get the dance down easily.
