by Amanda W. on Entirely and insultingly overpriced. I'm annoyed in particular by the microscopic amount of guacamole and salsa provided with my $11 chicken quesadilla for lunch yesterday. The guac is good, but not $12 good. My companions both had the shrimp salad, but found the dressing blazing hot (and not in a good way).
by Jenny Hansen on The Air Base Inn is a cheers type of place. The people are very friendly and you fell like you have been going there forever into your first visit. It is just a small neighborhood bar with nice attentive bartenders and owners. Just what I like, nothing fancy just a quiet friendly atmosphere.
by Chiquita Gesell on It's a beautiful addition to Atlanta. No doubt about it. But, asking a girl from theme park land (Orlando, FL) about the aquarium is like asking you to compare me to Cindy Crawford. The main layout is fine. The problem begins when you enter the exhibits. Sharp angles, t-stops, and zig zags don't work immediately before you move a large crowd onto a moving pathway or into different rooms. There are dark areas without floor lights that are just waiting for a lawsuit to happen once someone falls/gets trampled on/ etc. And don't get me started on the back to back registers in the food area. And the staff... ugh... most unhelpful staff I've encountered yet. No one knew where anything was and we were misdirected and even yelled at a few times. Nice. The animals are gorgeous, and the huge tank display is definitely a sight to see, so hopefully design flaws will be a complaint of the past once the crowds die down.
