They have pretty awesome DJs that spin house which goes well with their light and sound system. 1 year ago i woulda gave it a 4 star but their business has been hurting recently and I've had one experience where they were obviously trying to rip us off. I've gone to this place enough to know the promoter, Blu, by name (myspace:blufoxmusic). Usually getting in or getting a table isn't a problem but that night I went with a friend and got in by paying cover. We were expecting 2 more guests flying in from LA but it was cold and they were late so we decided to go in first. Once inside, I decided that we want a table for bottle service and I asked Blu what the minimum was for 2 people (we have a party of 4 but since my friend and I were inside already i figured the 2 outside could just get a bottle and come in) and she said 1 bottle. And stupid me, I told her that my friend Joe was coming with a date and they will tell her to get that bottle for them when they get here. As soon as she heard that, she said well if thats the case we would need to get 2 bottles. Not understanding the logic in that I then asked her, so if i didnt say we were together and my friend (party of 2) asked for a table will you only charge him 1 bottle? she said "Yes, but now that we know you guys are together and are considering getting bottle service, there is no way we are letting your 2 friends in tonight unless you guys open a total of 2 bottles." In those exact words. Me: "Ok so forget the bottle completely. He will just wait in line and pays cover." Blu: "No. That won't happen. We won't let him through the door." !!!! Can you believe that? She wouldnt let my friend and his date in the whole night. The club was practically empty with no one standing in line. Even if he was at the front of the line with no one else in line they still wouldn't let him in (his date was pretty hot too mind you). After realizing they were set on making us pay for the 2 bottles we decided to screw them and bring our business down to Tenjune. I have yet to go back to Cielo. I would say this is one of those places you go to when all your 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice clubs are booked. Its not worth having a second rate club trying to overcharge you and ruining your night. I don't want to base my ratings on 1 incident so I will say OVERALL this place is a 3.5 stars but CONSIDERING how they try to lie to your face and put you in a position where you are forced to do something you dont want to, I give them a 0.5 stars in terms of being professional.
