by Mauricio A. on The club itself is somewhat confusing since there's like 4 different floors or something like that. I spent most of my time on the 3rd floor I believe. The crowd was fine but the layout kind was sub par at best. The drinks are just as expensive as any other Hollywood club and chances are that you will have to pay cover. I had to pay $20 to get in. This is definitely not my first, second or third choice for a club, but it gets the job done and is still fun if you come with lots of friends.
by Alysia Shau on What can I say about Bootie other than I work my entire schedule around attending it each month. Helpful hints if you plan on attending. Come around 10:30 pm, right before the fun starts with the band Smash-Up derby onstage. Be sure to elbow your way to the front to watch the band as well as view the midnight mash-up shows. Be sure to take a look in the upstairs lounge as some of the better times I've had up there. It's a little bit quieter, a little less crowded, which is a nice contrast to the crazy loud wonderfulness of the downstairs dancefloor. Come prepared to dance and bring an open mind. You will see and rub elbows with ALL types of people, from aging prepsters to ID-faking emo-boys. Gays, straights, and trannies. Bring it on!
