I came to this place over summer on what I think was a special night with a special guest performer; hence, the cover charge was really expensive- I think 30?? So the group that I came with and I were about to leave but the security guards (who were SO NICE AND COOL) talked to ppl for us and we all got in for 20 instead :) Inside, it is really big and super nice. There was techno music, which I don't normally dance to, but the sound system was really good and everyone soon just really got into the music. The guys here were wayy less creepy than a lot of clubs; they seemed to just want to dance to the music and enjoy themselves. Fun club to go to. Def should check it out.

Since I've been in ATL, I've heard a zillion commercials for this place on the radio. I went with some friends on Thanksgiving night. I think the Orlando Magic was hosting. My review may be biased because I arrived there with a few drinks in me :) Parking kinda sucks they have their own lot which was $20.... The lots around the area were $10..... Not bad for mid-town if you split the parking cost with your group. I printed passes (I hate the standard ATL $20 club cover) to get in free before 11:30 for me and a bunch of my friends. We got there kinda late and the line was around the door.. The line guy said not to worry, he'd make sure we'd get in with the passes even if it was a little after 11:30pm.. I'm convinced that some of these clubs hold their line to force you to pay $20... The line guy said that if we each paid $20 (we were a group of 6) that we could cut the line and go right in. I was against it because it took me like and hour to find the right place to print the passes and I'm not made of money and rather spend $20 on drinks inside. It was kinda disappointing that the coat check was $4!! It was too cold out to not wear some type of jacket. I'm from NY and have gone to lots of clubs in NYC and coat check is usually $1 or $2. So that was $4 out of my drink budget :( Inside is nice. When you walk in there's a backdrop with the clubs logo and the photographer takes "red carpet style" pics. I believe the club has 4 levels. The top levels over look the main floor and are VIP. Overall it was a good time, good mix of music, nice crowd. No "thugs in the club". It was a good time, but I also went with GOOD company!

Interested in the Karaoke contest? Don't be. It is rigged. I dragged my poor friends in for this. First of all, they claimed to have judges. Lies. The music is insanely loud and TERRIBLE. After being tortured from 9PM (when we were told the "contest" would start) to 11 PM, (When the contest actually begins) we stayed after listening to one horriffic song after the other. Then, we were told that 4 people had to sign up, or the contest was not happening. So, a couple of us signed on. I sang, and then a girl began singing and immediately had 20 of her girlfriends show. The DJ's girlfriend perhaps? I know that I am naieve in thinking that this had anything to do with talent, but please. Know that this "contest" is only to wrangle people in for overpriced drinks in a dive :Don't let your friends suffer through it. And Lord only knows who the winners are sleeping with.
