I thought LA was pertentrious. Oh boy! Came here last night with my friend Sean who is a regular client here. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a door policy...I didn't know this happened in NY, but it does, appparently. We got in no problem and met up with some friends who were already there after work. This place is pretty nice. I'm a big fan of the owner's other venues and I was excited to check this one out with it being so close to my hotel and all. The crowd was a little older than my liking, but I saw gorgeous 20-somethings sprawled on a couch every here and there, so at least there was SOME diversity. I feel it's safe to assume that this is a local spot that attracts after-work big shots. Drinks were VERY expensive. I paid $20 for a Vodka Martini. That is THE most I have ever paid for a drink. Alas, I bought it...and bought a couple more to follow. I had a great time. As the three says, it was "a-ok"

Highlights include pool table, live music, DJs, and dancing, but the drinks were on the expensive side and the bartenders a bit curt. Stylish space, and great neighborhood as well, but I wouldn't go out of my way to check it out. Also, it was a little exasperating trying to navigate through the crowd of women applying make-up in the ladies room (they cosmeticized for over an hour, I think in preparation for the disco dancing at the venue later in the evening).
