by Harry Y. on I have been to Roe Restaurant a few times during the past year. Overall the food was excellent; however the service was just terrible. The presentation and taste of the food was on point. The food was beautifully plated with a modern flare to it. My favorite dish was the lamb with pommegrante sauce. The lamb was executed perfectly and different from other restaurants. I heard that the chef was very young and passionate about cooking. The service at Roe Restaurant is one of the worst service I have experience at a fine dinning restaurants. The waiters were inexperience and did not have menu knowledge. The floor was unorganized and no management on site. The waiters were not properly trained and managed. I could not understand why there were big speakers and boxes all over the dinning floor. This is quite annoying when I am trying to enjoy my dinner. The floor also smells like alcohol and the table was sticky. Overall, Roe needs to work on their service for me to dine at the restaurant again.
by Nigel Keaten on So Suede is the place to come for the AZN dance party. I have never seen a more ridiculous line in front of club @ 10:15. Thank god I got hooked up and did not have to pay the $20 cover to get in here or wait in line. Although the place is huge, it is pretty trashy with no decor. The music was good but there was absolutely no space to dance. I felt like I was trapped in a can of sardines. It was hard to get to the bar, a fight broke out, and was definitely definitely not the place to come party after a first date. Overall, had a pretty good time with a large group of friends there, but not sure if I would dare return.
