Went here for brunch on a rainy sunday a while back with the 'rents. We all had omelettes. Mine was salmon. Delicious! Coffee was meh. Didn't have the bloody mary on this occasion but I've been twice just to have a bloody mary after work--both times with the same bartender. Forget her name but she's awesome! Talkative and funny. Makes a killer Bloody and I am someone that tries one at almost every restaurant I go to! The decor is kinda silly and it sucks that you can't sit at a table if it's just you, you have to sit at the bar. And the bar is tiny. If it wasn't for the cool bartender it would be super awkward and annoying. But she let me talk and read my book whenever I felt like it. Wish I knew her name!!! dark brown hair, petite help? Thanks whoever you are!

I was supposed to meet up my friend at this bar when I was visiting NY, and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I got there after 8pm, so I had to pay $16 for the cover charge to get in. The space seemed very cozy, and there were dining tables to the side for dinner guests. Then, at 9pm, the special event started. We had no idea what the event was, and to our surprise, it was an Indian dance lesson! I've never been to a bar/club where they taught you how to dance! There was an instructor on stage teaching you the exact dance steps, and she gave the audience time to learn them. After about half an hour of lessons, the dance floor was opened up to dance what we just learned or whatever we remembered. The only music played that night was Indian music, so to me, it was a little difficult to dance for hours on end. But it was an overall interesting experience. For those who want an adventure at night, this would be the place.
