Finally a club calling the long-dead dancers from their graves for after hours jamming. After years of cluttered Boston clubs, filled with drunk and "I don't dance but check out ppl in my shiny outfit" existences, Rise is a fresh breath for those looking for the real deal. At last, we have a trick to use against NYC people: we can at least stay at a club till morning light! Rise has two floors. The first floor offers the forgotten house beats in a classy atmosphere of couches, white curtains separating warm bodies and a combination of green and blue light digging Boston's darkness. The second floor is a mid size room that has a deep sense intertwined with intimacy with the DJ. You are close enough to the master's expression while losing yourself in between groovy souls. The music is by far the best I have heard at any club in Boston. Sitting at the lounge, I could not believe my ears for the beats. I would not dare saying that Rise beats those classy places in Miami or Paris, but it is definitely a notch or two higher than most of the casual clubs in Europe. The quality of the staff is another thing to be noted. The calm, professional and music-lover staff, from the doormen to the coat-man to the non-alcohol serving barman, is a big plus. You feel welcomed. Those who are already buzzed coming to Rise will soon wake up to the rhythm of Rise. If you can't dance without alcohol, don't waste your night's sleep. Stay home and leave us sane.

The decor is really cool, dim lighting, ceiling lined with Sombreros, cool private area with an old school style ivory couch...nice bar area too. The service and food was a miss. All the food including the Salsas and chips had a sweet taste to them....I love my sweets, but where it belongs, not on enchiladas, salsa, rice...and on and on and on. The servers seemed to have the attitude that we should be grateful that they are there to NOT serve us. Some Friends of mine went for one of their birthdays and had reservations and waited almost two hours past the time and finally gave up and left...They said they had good Mojitos though. I also liked the drink served in a pineapple. They leave the core in it though so it looks much larger than it is and it is about $15! Go for the atmosphere, but don't expect an even somewhat near great overall experience.
