by Shon Slough on This place was pretty cool. After bar hopping for a couple hours and being less than satisfied that we couldn't get a mojito anywhere, we found the velvet margarita. They had pretty awesome mojitos, and we ran into Vince Vaughn at the bar. They didn't have any coronas which was surprising, but overall a nice place to go on a Saturday night.

And if I could give no stars then I would especially since the bouncers are SOO FRICKIN RUDE... well, that one chubby blonde chick who does the will call/guest list along with the bouncers inside....who stand guard before the "vip area" ...wtf is that sh!t? My friend & I apparently walked into the unguarded "vip" balcony area...and the bouncer nearly yelled at us and kicked us out of there!!! It's really NOT that special anyway, and I told him that "RubySkye Sucks!" I was drunk, so I think I said a lot more than that :P But anyway, haven't really been back since...only to Baby Loves Disco parties which are way better since they have free food/snacks to munch on and not some many fake people like the usual rubyskye crowd, just a bunch of happy babies crawling around and hula hooping to disco beats!
