I liked Genki before it closed, and now it's reopened. Now that's located one door down where the patio is, I don't know if that's why the parking situation was confusing. I first drove in the right side, where valet used to be, but it was a pay-park-yourself side, and the left side was the valet. Overall, it was fine, but just beware you might park in a valet spot where you may be blocked in. FOOD: First, we had the edamame, chicken egg rolls, and gyoza(fried). The egg rolls may be a tad bland, so you may want to have it with the wasabi dip that it comes with. Next, we had sushi rolls: spicy tuna, spiderman, olympic, rainbow, florida, super crunch, and kamikaze. I wasn't too fond of the spicy tuna and florida. Maybe the other rolls were delicious that the two didn't compare. The spiderman is huge so you may want to take 2-3 bites or take it apart. The kamikaze and super crunch were my favorite. TIP: The downstairs could seat bigger parties and it has a full bar with a TV.

I spent New Years Eve 2006 here, and despite the man to man combat required to get to one of the two bars (and then service from one of the two bartenders at each bar) ended up having a really good time. The place is big enough to have plenty of room to move around, the drinks were good, and the food was impressive, for a buffet. Was it worth the $130 ticket? I'm still undecided on that. But it was definitely a fun place to spend New Years Eve.
