by hollie t. on i went to this club august 20,2010 for my 25th birthday and 3 year anniversary, we bought two bottles and were in v.i.p, me, my husband and brother it was all good and fun until the end of the night when we asked the waitress to return our credit card and she said she gave it back to my husband BIG LIE!!! it was a horrible night after that, I approached the bouncer and told him the situation he said he would punch me in the face I'am 5"3 130lbs he is big and angry looking,and he told me, a female he would punch me in the face?!!The night just got worse, the management didn't care. SO my fair warning to you is if you go to Mansion use cash, and don't depend on the club to be responsible cause they don't care , they just want your money I think I'll stick to Las Vegas never had a problem and if I did it would be handled not brushed off, south beach period is a rip off if you walk out the club the police are waiting to arrest you, especially tourists cause they know you don't want to be stuck in jail on your vacation so you'll pay the bond to get out. The local saying is "Come on vacation leave on probation"
by Roxy Manney on I like it that there's 4(5?) different dance floors. Was here for NYE '10 and the crowd was fairly mixed and didn't seem to pretentious (unless I'm pretentious myself, and I didn't notice it har har har). The first top floor had some bachata so that's quite unusual and satisfied my latin fix , if only I knew how to dance it better. We pre-drank, so I only got one drink there, but it did seem watered down. Overall not a bad place, and maybe worth exploring it a second time if only for the crowd and the variety of dance floors. On a side note, this isn't a reflection of the place per se, but at the end of the night while walking outside some of my friends got heckled by some dudes and got a gun pulled out on them. Hell'uva way to start the new year!
