by amit s. on I live right down the street from this place. It is popular. But overrated. It also looks like a dimly lit whore house. Not that i'd know what a whore house looks like. But i can imagine it'd be like this. anyway, for tacos take the Muni and get to the Mission. I heart Mission.
by Jackson Messerli on A ton of fun! Went for a friends birthday and danced until 3 am. Prices are typical of a bar, but Tuesday nights (80s night), is a great night to go. Have a ton of fun and met a lot of new people. Definitely check it out!
by Doyle Rudie on My first BBQ shrimp was here and boy was it incredibly delicious. I sopped up all the sauce with the bread they gave me. The gumbo, for me, was a huge disappointment - my new orleans friend said it was the best, but she wasn't there when I had it so I'm not sure what happened here. I really like the food, but the cost really adds up. I ordered a highly seasoned fish and was slightly disappointed due to the heavy, hot seasoning (I like hot food, but this was too spicy and hot for me). I think fish needs a lighter touch. My glass of wine shocked me when I saw the price on the receipt. I'll be back, but not when I'm on a budget.
