by Margaret B. on After five years in Atlanta, finally took out-of-towners to visit The Varsity. The space itself is really impressive and I can see how this would feel like a super-amusement park to a kid. Especially if said kid drank a frosted orange and let all the sugar get to their head. About the food, it was actually better than I expected. The onion rings were super delicious. And the slaw dogs were fine. Definitely better than other fast-food joints, but not something I'd want to visit regularly.

AMAZING music, so not sure what the "horrendous DJ comment is all about below--they might have switched their tune--haha, get it?! The door is your only issue, so make sure to go with someone, or be someone, that has an in, or you will be waiting outside for a little while. I went on a Thursday and it was an amazing time. No complaints whatsoever, everyone is dancing with everyone else and going crazy and its what every NYC hot nightspot should be. Highly recommend. If anyone wants to go, I'm always down to party, Tenjune style :) Side note--for all of the stalkarattzi's that follow the life of Brittany A) I'm sorry and B) Brittany goes here quite a bit so if you want to see baldy britty in the near future, this might be a great bet for you.
