by Ryne D. on Came here after wandering downtown Philly for an hour or so with my sis and her b/f, looking for a place to eat dinner that was still open (we wanted to go to Reading Terminal Market, but it was closed already), not crazy pricey, and didn't specialize in cheesesteaks - my sister was already getting pretty sick of them. We asked to be seated outside and promptly were, and while I was afraid this meant we wouldn't be served well, they did a good job of checking up on us. I liked our location because it was on a busy street with a lot of people to look at. Things started to get really interesting when the nightclub next to us opened their doors, but we finished before any kind of line formed. The food came in giant portions, which meant we probably should've just split two dishes among us three. Instead we each got a pasta dish and split a salad entree. Oh well. There was chicken, veal, and seafood, and they were all pretty good. While I probably wouldn't come back here just because I like variety, I would recommend it for any big family gatherings, or any big families.

If you are looking to party on Wednesday night (after 111 Minna), this is one of the few places that can be kinda fun. With its dark (as in lighting)ambience and combined with your beer goggles, it's probably best you dont drink too much. :) the music is not bad considering it is still a wednesday night (u know most good djs spins on the weekend). Oh, yeah, there's a $10-$15 charge (i cant remember) just in case you are trying to avoid covers.
