Note:  This review is based on a private event - this is NOT for the usual Friday/Saturday night scene. Ambiance:  Beautiful, Hampton-like setting.  Sort of an odd layout/flow with all of the separate rooms but never mind that.  Main room has a little pool in the center with stacked couches on one side of the wall.  WATCH OUT for the raised platforms - esp. if you're wearing heels...  There's a small outdoor area for smokers, as well. Service:  Here's the reason for the 3-star rating.  Some of the bartenders were jerks.  It was a really easy night for these guys - come in, get paid to cater to a small group of 200+ people for a few hours, and chill.  At the station in the dance room, two bartenders were chatting away when I asked them for a bottle of water.  Kid you not, this one bartender carelessly TOSSED a napkin my way and dropped the bottle of water on the bar top as if I were some peasant.  Barely any eye contact or acknowledgment of my thanks.  Just, drop, toss, and back to the conversation.  The other bar with the pretty colored rocks was worse - my coworkers were getting crap service from this one guy all night.  Just too cool to work there, I guess.  The guys in the main room were good, though.  Tray service was on top of it, making the rounds throughout the night, and the clean up guys are crazy fast and efficient!  There is one dude I have to call out for amazing work - he's a Denis Leary look-alike, but with brown hair - he was working hard the whole time and was probably one of the more pleasant people to interact with. Parking:  Valet was free for me, but I'm pretty sure it's $10, the lot is right at the front door. Bathrooms:  Finally!  A place with plenty of stalls!  Nice, clean, and well lit.  Communal sink area. All in all, the coordinator at the club took good care of us, and most of the staff did an excellent job.  Some shady situations during clean up, but that's not for me to comment on in this arena.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but wow! A lot of "fancy" burger joints do not live up to the hype, but this one rocks. I had a southern burger - brought back memories of fried steak sandwich from years ago. My girlfriend had the basic butcher burger and is was super. We sampled several sides - onion rings, fries, and of course the fried pickles. Super! - most fried pickles are dill, but these are bread and butter. You would think the sweetness of the pickle would throw it off, but these pickles were just right. And we had super service. None of that annoying hovering, but just enough attention at the right time so we never lacked anything. Timing was perfect, and the Nutella Shake - awesome!!!!! Cost was what I expected for this type of place, but well worth it. Decor and atmosphere were enjoyable. Seating was good - we arrived early enough (geeser hour) to get a table without waiting. I did ask to move from the first table as it was a deuce that was shoved off in an awkward corner. They should just do away with that one all together. This is one place we can recommend this one to our friends!

I'm a huge hip-hop fan and this place got it right. If you're looking for a place to dance and have fun without all the nonsense at uppity clubs, this is the place to go. I do agree with the other rateclubsers that the place does get very packed since it's not that large, but my friends and I ended up staying till close anyway. Cover was $5 when I went, and drinks were affordable. Highly recommended for hip-hop fans.
