My friend asked me the other night what I thought of Ecco - I will briefly paraphrase the conversation that ensued: Friend: So thumbsup for Ecco.  Five stars? Me: Their quail rocked my quail world, but seeing as I've limited experience with quail, it is a rather small world and perhaps easily rocked.  It did, however, quake with delight sending tremors of quail-ly goodness forth. Friend: What about your poultry world? Which I assume is somewhat more stable? Me: My poultry world, being indeed a more stable world and one within which the microcosmic world of poultry does exist, felt the aftershocks from the quail world throughout.  Admittedly it was saved from shattering into pieces of newfound favoritism by the solid foundation that is Cantonese duck. Me: My ice-cream world quivered as well as a new continent known as olive oil ice-cream emerged from the depths.  Ooooh the sweet and salty goodness. Friend: Right... But how many starzzzzzz!?!?! Me: 5 Stars from me, ambiance was great, bar was friendly and I took the risk of ordering a more eclectic choice seeing as they weren't too busy.  They looked it up online for me.  No complaints! Me: Retrospectively, speaking upon those imaginary worlds made of foods that I occasionally dwell in, my world of Gouda was redefined: splintering continents that I had foolishly thought firm and established upon solid good taste but discovered to be set through with faults of ignorance!  That is not to say the Entire world was made up of ignorance, but it had faults, FAULTS sir, whereupon this new Gouda experience was able to take hold and tear asunder some previously held beliefs. Me: Oh, and the blue cheese was good too - though I found my lack of bread, no fault of Ecco's but rather the ravenous speed we fell upon it, drew away from the experience a little.  The flavor was so strong that I needed to shield myself from its overwhelming glory with the bread (which was shortly thereafter refilled once I had already consumed the cheese.) Friend: Hey wow, Nice.
