by trice g. on I love this place!!!! If there is nothing to do on a Saturday. This is a place I can always count on to entertain me. Although I've never had the food here. The drinks are good and the Saturday night live band is AWESOME!!! The is no cover charge but parking can be a bit difficult. But its totally worth looking or walking or whatever.
by Lindsey Batra on Every time I see the Hut's ad in the Chronicle for the onion rings, it makes me remember the one and only time I tried them and was very disappointed. Hill-bert's onion rings are so much tastier than the huge, flavorless breaded rings at Hut's. Hill-bert's have a much thinner slice of onion and a better fried coating on them. They are a little greasy, but it doesn't seem an onion ring should be judged on its healthiness. The onion rings are reason enough to go there, but the veggie burger is even better. They cook them on a separate skillet which is nice if you don't want burger juice on your veggie burger. In addition, they use fresh, spicy jalapenos to give it a nice kick and combine it with a good wheat bun.
