by Eric W. on I've been here for brunch and dinner. The food is basic and lackluster. I've been here late night because silly friends of mine went there for drinks. I would never go here if it were up to me, but the space is nice enough. Whenever I'm dragged here I definitely try to wait as patiently as possible till my friends are ready to leave.
by Jasmin F. on Celebrated my 25th birthday here, and boy am I glad I did! Sure, my boyfriend spent about $1,500 on bottle service, but guess it was all worth it since every one of my guests had enough alcohol to keep them drunk until dinner the next day. We all had a blast! What I will warn you about though is the type of alcohol you order. Make sure you remember what bundle you order from the hostess--heck, if you're spending that much on alcohol, you better! The hostess "accidentally" brought a cheap ass bottle of korbel to the table as our final drink, thinking we wouldn't notice that we ordered one of the most expensive champagne bottles they had. Good thing I rolled with a whole bunch of SF Chinese guys (my boyfriend's Chinese)--game recognize game, baby. All in all, Manor West is a chic, perfectly sized venue, with good music and a nice mixture of people. Until it turns super SF mainstream, I plan on going here often ;).
by ella a. on The Good: - Large club -Cool TV screens enhance your drunk -Cute Bartenders -Great People watching -Open till 4 am -fist pumpin music The Bad: -Can be $$$ ($20 cover at door) -Large, but cramped!! -Crowd: Hipsters and Hippies all tripped out -Girls are not cute (I saw a girl with hair under her arms dancing) -Nasty sweaty, organic hippie smell from all the earthy folks in the side room (you guys now that smell - a mix of incense and B.O) That is the this club in a nutshell
