by Jaymie Perrigan on I love this venue. Not too big not too small and the sound system is on point. Last night Richie Hawtin rocked a packed space. Packed meaning you could not walk anywhere in the place. Music bliss and dancing ensued. Mighty does an excellent job supporting local DJ events but also brings out the international talent that don't typically play the mainstream venues like Ruby Skye. Music at Mighty brings out the local DJ's and Producers which is a good sign. The bass speakers are massive...bring your earplugs!

My best friend bartends here which is literally the only reason I would even consider going in here. She barely makes any money. People tip poorly. It's a bar for alcoholics. Lots of loud annoying racist blabber can be heard any time of day or night. 3 stars earned: 1 for my poor bartender friend 1 for the guinness beef stew - it's damn good 1 for the magners on tap AND in bottle. docked two stars for the rest of the food being bland/overly salty/ uninspired, and they don't serve hypnotiq! (hahaha). Really, though, the regulars are among the most unsavory in the state. On any given afternoon you'll see like 3 people get literally tossed out of the bar into the street. Oh, and my friend refuses to watch anything on the TVs but UFC championship marathon. If you don't like that, you'll have to deal.
