by Amy L. on never any especially good looking people, but everyone is enjoying themselves immensely. they play great music and sometimes there are amazing dancers...rootdown on thursdays is the best night to go. last time i was there, a guy was painting very rapidly on an easel on their stage and it looked awesome. don't walk to your car by yourself though, it's a rather sheisty neighbourhood.
