by Leigh Cobrin on Friends were coming in town for a visit and specifically wanted to go to the Aquarium so I booked us a time on Saturday (2pm). Our wait to get in was minimal but once we were inside?! Wow! There were so many screaming kids running around that we almost left w/out seeing another first after the first exhibit! We persevered and ended up realy enjoying ourselves but we learned a valuable lesson! Do not go on a Saturday during the summer! Just way too many people there! Wait until the school year starts and then go on a weekday afternoon! Overall, it was a great experience and I'm glad that I went but I wish we'd had more time/space to see even more.
by aaron z. on A manhattanite can find any source of activity here at Chelsea Piers. From rock climbing and bowling to dancing and drinking. Chelsea Piers offers up a wide assortment of activities for all ages. The one drawback, it is very expensive to do pretty much anything here.
