by Mckinley Aluarez on If only they had mixed in a litle hip-hop...I would've given 4 stars. Nice deco, in my opinion the burlesque show was too short, they need a couple more girls. We had bottle service with vey nice and attentive staff and it was a good deal too. Their house champagne is pretty tasty. Oh, but parking is on the street- that kinda sux. They need valet!
by Walton Pa on Oh no they didn't! Friend and I decided to hit Cielo last minute on a Friday night. Get to the door and there were no cuties in sight - looked all scary B&T. First sign all may not be well. We get ushered in fast through VIP and are knocked back by the heavy bass the DJ is throwing. Okay cool, I can still swerve to that. Belly up to the bar for the first round of two cocktails. $27. Go back a bit later and same two drinks are now $30, from the same bartender. Go back again, now it is $32, same drinks, different bartender. Back a fourth time and it has jumped to $35, same drinks, first bartender. Are you kidding?! So, gross crowd and bartenders ripping us off - um, won't be going back here.
by cera l. on So when I found out that one of our friends invited us to his show at Bordello, I immedately hopped on rateclubs to check it out. I was happy to see many thumbs up reviews and was excited to go to a new club. I walked in and thought that this would be a perfect joint if a vampire wanted to enjoy a burlesque show, and I mean that as a compliment! The decor is victorian-esque just dripping in Red. The bartender was dressed like a burlesque dancer, and was very nice. Being influenced by my Nosferatu-like surroundings, I decided to order a a glass of vino, which came in a surprising Goblet sized glass and was only $7...not bad! It took me the entire show, + some, to drink the entrie glass. The stage was cool with the blood red curtians, and the sound was good. I would LOVE to come to a Halloween party here, but Halloween or no Halloween, I will definately come back!
